Emerging artist living and working in Chadds Ford, Pa.
 

   A mostly self taught artist working in watercolor/gouache, acrylic and oil paints. 

I am always interested to see what comes of my art next.  I enjoy journaling the sights and country side in and around the Brandywine Valley. Plein Air has encouraged me to love experiencing the paintbrush and paints.

I have attended classes and workshops with Anna B. Francis in Kennett Square, with Don Getz in Wayne, Pa, and with Mel Stabin in Chadds Ford, Pa. I am always looking for another inspiring workshop and love working around other artists. I have exhibited works in Juried Art Shows in the Northeast.

I was very active in the Art in Action program in the elementary schools of the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District and was presented with an Outstanding Service Award in 2000.  Reading:

Through her efforts it has become a creative and artistic team building activity.  Our student created wooden cities and foil tree displays are a lasting reminder of Lisa’s love of art and children. Kinder words have never been spoken and I feel the same way about adults. We are all similar yet unique.
